​Nurturing The Old Age
There is common saying "Old Is Gold" but rarely we do so. According to Ayurveda old age is an age of vata which brings about catabolic changes in the body. Ayurveda details out various ways where the body can be kept healthy and active in the old age. No matter how old you are or how many white hair you have, Ayurveda will always make you feel sweet sixteen.
ABOUT THE RETREAT
This retreat is specifically designed for the respected senor citizens keeping in mind the Ayurvedic principles for the old age. According to the health and other requirements of the participant, the therapies will be provided along with mild yoga sessions, healing the suppressed emotions from various aspects.
WHEN IS THE RETREAT
This is a twenty eight day retreat at Anmol Alayam conducted twice an year during the spring and autumn season- roughly during the month of March and November. The dates of which are notified on our website.
PRELIMINARIES
We require the participants to be physically and mentally well enough to take care of themselves. One can continue with any kind of medication suggested by the doctor and please make sure that one carries enough medicine for the complete retreat period. This retreat is strictly not for the people suffering from any incurable chronic disease which requires direct supervision of the competent doctor. The participant needs to disclose the complete picture of their health, past surgeries, medication, etc. In case of non disclosure, the participant shall be responsible for any consequences.
